About Me
I love Texas Music. I love Texas History. And I love Texas Music History. I have a radio program called Texas Radio Live on KDRP FM out of Dripping Springs and Austin. I have 2 guest performers each week that perform live from a popular Mexican restaurant in South Austin. I also produce a program for the station called "Pioneers of Texas Music". So far, in my second year, I have recorded more that 100 short biographies of musical pioneers associated with the great state of Texas. Here is the one I recorded on Eddie Durham: If you are interested, there is an archive of my recorded episodes of Pioneers of Texas Music that can be found at www.kdrplive.org. Then click on "On Air", then "Weekday Programming", then "Pioneers of Texas Music". It's free, it's fun, it's educational and entertaining. Thank you for your very well constructed and interesting web site! And thanks for accepting me as a member! Sincerely, David Arnsberger

About Me
My grandfather Grant L. Piburn built a guitar for Mr. Durham in the early '30s. He took it to Fairyland park in Kansas City where he was playing with Benny Motin. Mr. Motin payed my grandfather for the guitar which was advance pay. I wonder if Mr. Durham's family may have that guitar or any pictures of it?
