About Me
Born in 1954, introduced to jazz in my early teens thru my cousin, who brought the Louis Armstrong album "Ambassador Satch" to our house. Since then listening to all kind of swinging jazz, preferable the styles from the late 20s up to the early 50s. Co-wrote a discography on Edmond Hall in 1980, wrote reviews for our local newspaper and co-organised the jazz festival at my home town in the early 80s. Have heard Eddie Durham (and secured an autograph) live once with the "Harlem Blues And Jazz Band". What an evening! Post a CommentOops! The words you entered did not match the given text. Hi! "Swingin' The Blues - The Virtuosity of Eddie Durham" Volume 1, is released. Today only - the $39.99 hardcover is $14.25, due to an Amazon glitch, excluding their and my percentage. So I'm giving the opportunity to obtain this so cheaply only to my loyal DurhamJazz.com Members. The price was supposed to update last night, so no guarantee it's still $14.99. Order now (or order another one as a gift) because this won't happen again: click: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SMP5NHM?pf_rd_r=P3CQG80T3T3M
